Importing and Exporting of bikes or vehicles is easy. Below are points to consider when thinking about importing Bikes or Vehicles to your country.
When buying, you need to know the costs and laws involved in bringing that item to your country. Some of the things you will have to ask you self are ;
- What are the taxes? ( Consumption and Duties are the main ones. )
- What are the restrictions on bikes or vehicles? ( Cubic capacity, exhaust emissions, LH head lights. This is an important one as several countries only allow certain cc, and others require expensive gas regulations. This will also affect what you ask for. i.e. you may only be able to buy race bikes and bikes newer than 1996. )
- What is required to register the items?
- Do parts need to be changed?
- The value of the bike or vehicle in your market?
We will provide a sample of the FOB or C&F costs, however you must decide if it is viable, by doing your homework. If you are able to research all these questions you will have a greater chance of success with our first business dealings.
